Configuring Windows 95/98 to connect to CyberLynk Networks

Step 1: Find a Local Access Number

Please check our Local Access Numbers page for a dial up location near you. As always, before using any CyberLynk Networks local access number, please check with the operator (dial 0 on a phone attached to the line you will be calling from) to ensure that the new number will be a local call from your business or residence. CyberLynk Networks is not responsible for any long distance charges incurred when using this service.

Step 2: Configuring Windows Dial-Up Networking

Start by double-clicking your "My Computer" icon on the Windows Desktop

Next, double-click on the "Dial-Up Networking" icon

After opening Dial-Up Networking, you should see one of the following two things:

Double-clicking the "Make New Connection" icon will bring up the second image displayed above. Type in "CyberLynk" as the name for the computer you are dialing. Then, click "Next" to proceed.

Enter the appropriate area code and telephone number you located in Step 1. Click "Next" to proceed.

Click "Finish" to complete the Wizard.

Click here to proceed to Step 3
